Animal Medical Centre (AMC) is a veterinary clinic located in Sydney, a beautiful harbour town on Cape Breton Island in the province of Nova Scotia. Our team has been providing pets with high-standard care for over 65 years! We are a tertiary care Animal Hospital for companion animals housed within a newly renovated rustic style house, with one of only a few pet boutique animal clinics in the country! Our clinic is fully equipped, including a dental x-ray and an in-house lab.
AMC is community-minded and continues to give back to our clients, neighbours and community partners. We enjoy all of the benefits and the unique charm of living in Sydney. Outside of our work at the hospital, our team takes time to relish in the scenic waterfront, restaurants, wineries and festivals in and around the city. With activities such as whale watching, kayaking and tidal bore rafting—there’s always plenty for us to do and explore when we feel a bit more adventurous!
